Roman women and microcredits

While Roman women were excluded from financial transactions, research by a Spanish law professor says a system of microcredits existed to circumvent the restrictions.
Below are two news articles; there is somewhere the full research paper in PDF form, but I can't find the link again. If you know where it might be I'd appreciate it.
