I need a lower arm protection against kicks or strikes. No hard shells, but something I can wear comfortably under a jacket or anorak without looking militarized.
It is a precaution; I do not expect an imminent physical assault, which is why I am ready to trade off some functionality for inconspicuousness, but I want some basic measure of protection.
I am thinking of a towel or a piece of cloth wrapped around my arm, but I have no idea about the binding technique, and I can't find anything on the net for a lack of a fitting search term. It should not easily slip from the arm.
