Has anyone ever written a book on just roman army regulation and procedure? if knowone has would anyone be interested for a book of that sort to be compiled and then written?<br>

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately as it motivates me to learn latin, the copy that I have is in the original latin. There is an English version somewhere. This book dates from the late 4th/early 5th century.<br>

The English translation of Vegetius is by Liverpool University Press. ISBN 0-85323-901-X. Printed 1993/1996 by Redwood Books.<br>
<br>
Also Maurice's Strategicon, though even later, is also available in English from University of Pensylvania Press in 1984.<br>
<br>
