Does anyone know if there is a confirmed reason/s that Spartacus turned South instead of escaping North after defeating the legions of consuls Lucius Publicola and Gnaeus Clodianus?
I know that there are speculated theories that he wanted to reform roman society and abolish slavery but they haven't been confirmed.
Just wanted to know if there was anything out there that confirms his motives?
