Herodotus and his animal buddies

Herodotus makes many quips about exotic animals, such as sharks and Nile crocodiles, and I was wondering if there's a place where all of his knowledge and research about animals are all in one place, such as a website or a book? Gratias!

Try Pliny's Natural History, the several volumes containing animals. Also-- Aelian.
