Roof on Stonehenge
#1
Now this is a creative interpretation. A roof on Stonehenge?  Not sure if this should be here or in Off Topic.

Totally OT. For one it's not Roman but neoloithicum, for another it's total fantasy: no examples of similar 'monolith-based roundhouses anywhere', and what about the foundation for this building?

Erm...there *may* be evidence for monolithic houses but it just hasn't been published yet. There is even evidence for neolithic SQUARE houses...again, not published.

Still a bit of a wild punt , though, bordering on fantasy but sometimes people from "without" do have valid opinions and different approaches which should not be too heavily condemned, perhaps.

I could accept a monolithic house but this would be a monolithic Basilica! Smile

Hi,
....all kidding aside:
A (wooden) roof on stonehenge is "thinkable" , but IMHO not "proofable" -- yet.
I think in that very case this is "overstretching" "argumentum e silentio".
