I may have come to the feast late on this one, but I have only just noticed that someone (Scott Vanderbilt) has put the Roman Inscriptions of Britain Vol. 1 online here, and it looks very smart.

Most definitely late ;-)

Scott showed me the prototype at the Crosby Garrett Helmet conference years ago and kept apologising for what a mess it was, despite the fact it was the neatest piece of coding I'd seen in years. He has a truly gorgeous Margary's Roman Roads of Britain up his sleeve too (still wrestling with the rights on that one, I believe).

You should try Twitter - ORIB's been mentioned there a lot over the past year or so :-)
