Not sure if this is the right place for this but I found a good source for Mild Steel Sheet in the UK.
I used thrm to source the steel for my Segmentata.
Sheet sizes from 500 x 500 mm up to 500 x 1250
They offer a cutting service with the first 10 cuts per sheet for free, straight cuts.
They can also do mitre cuts, profiling and laser cutting of shapes but at extra cost

This one is near me but nation wide they also cut the plates for a lorica I made if I remember right £ 35 for a 8 x 4 ft sheet but that was a few years ago Huh I liked this seller because you can walk in and see what they have,to me a sweet shop Tongue

Gateshead is good, I am on Teesside and do a lot of work in Team Valley.

How do they charge for cutting?

If I am right they didn't charge but I just had the girdle plates/shoulder ect and thechest plates as one stripes I have a bench cutter. I presume you are going to make a Seggy ? Well you are in the right place Wink
