Tinning
#1
Greetings,

I'm sure some of you know the pulg and plate tinning set. Does someone know what kind of fluid the bottle suplied with it contains? I mean the the stuff you dip the wand into. Is it tin binitrate?

Thanks for the help,
Best regards,

I've just checked my tin solution, and it does not specify the chemical contents on the bottle

Thanks for looking Florentius. I am pretty sure now it is Sn(Na)2. Something else I noticed: the tin solder used in this system to tin objects contains a LOT of lead. So be careful on what you use it because it is probably poisonous.
