Unbelievable... *shakes head* I'll never touch that stuff, though I will drag people I know into toystores to give them a laugh...

That's not the new line, I suppose?
I love the expression of the kid behind the table - 'HOW AM I GOING TO GET MY PARENTS TO GET ME THIS FOR MY NEXT BIRTHDAY?' : Confusedhock:

If they only had these lines when I was a kid, oh boy!!! The new playmobil dudes look good. Maybe the two previous versions were only a test to see whether there's a market... Cool, gotta get some from my kids ( ) next time we're in Germany.

Now all they need is a Pompeii set with an exploding Vesuvius. Watch out for the Pyroclastic flow Julius! But, seriously if this gets children interested in history it is not that bad. even though children will think Romans are 5 inch tall plastic people.

Still, that's better than the guy who asked an archaeologist why our ancestors wanted to live four meters below ground level...

Jona,

The photo of the PlayMobile Legion at the museum...

Is that a 1-for-1 set up or does each figure represent several men?

It is really quite an impressive display.
