Trappings and decoration of Roman military clothing
#1
Dear all
Regards

this is my 2nd thread in the forum regarding almost the same topic.
My name is Alaa' Barraneia, I'm an Egyptian Archaeology student, and I need some help with my master degree research about the decorations and trappings of Roman military clothing in the age of Roman empire 1st century BC: 3rd century A.D "principate time"
I have already done with the books of Mr Graham Sumner which I found pretty useful.
I need a list of titles for books regarding my research. References, tomes, guides, anything regarding my research especially something that explains the decorations on the military armors, and I would like to mention that I already done with the suggestions on the previous post here http://www.romanarmytalk.com/rat/thread-24813-post-281281.html#pid281281
I would be so grateful if you could help me.

Thank you in advance.
Best regards
Alaa' Barraneia

Graham Sumner's books should have a bibiography that would keep you pretty occupied I think. And each book you read from those lists will help you get on further. I guess we don't have much to add to Graham's work on clothing.

Now you als mention armour decoration.. I can't help you with that topic.
