Frankly, I don't recall if it did or not. Simonenko is available online as a PDF, the first 2/3 in Russian, the last third in English. Trajan's column shows the Roxolani horses armored, but it is far from accurate. The painting that Michael posted would be somewhat accurate. Do you ride?
