Zama Strategy Campaign
#1
This may be of interest?

I`ve just started four strategy campaigns for the Zama campaign of 202 BC.

My aims in this are to test my estimates of the forces involved, to see how people will use the troops available to them and see to what kind of skirmishes, clashes and battles are generated as a result from the strategic factors that existed at the time .

I do have room for another Scipio, if someone here is interested?

Although the rules are fairly simple, I should say that it is not an easy campaign for either commander - it requires some careful management of resources and planning!

Reply here if you`d like to hang up your toga and put on your fighting mini-dress !

Best Regards,

Mike Collins.

Presently I have two Zama campaigns running... both have produced cavalry battles in the same area which primarily involved Numidian forces.
Still time to test your strategic abilities as a Scipio (maybe Africanus?).

From one of the campaigns I`m running now. Map movements of Hannibal from Hadrumetum and a column of reinforcements sent by Vermina to rendezvous with Hannibal at Zama Regia. The reinforcements were attacked and beaten by Massinissa and Scipio close to the town of Musti.
