Yes ive been hooked on it this past week, quite rare that a game is this addictive for me, a rather nice blend of role play ( over 3k of events in game so far and more are being added) and mil conflict ( its a rock paper scissors for units, but experience/leadership and technology can over come that as with uber general and a ton of experience in the right perks means you can win as a basic warrior which you start out as, over a mid game hoplite with better all round stats that Greece invents as a superior combat unit).
Here is some gameplay, no chit chat about mechanics as i did it for me to look back afterwards as im trying to get a feel for pacing, game has a discontent mechanic that really hurts cities output and if you expand the number of cities you just generate more of it, but coinage when invented, and a Chancellor allows you to buy of discontent, otherwise you need high level priests or luxury resources and the tech to exploit them, or events like the corn dole and so on, but i can add one for you if you like what you see, from my last playthrough as Assyria, will take another 2 hours to load onto youtube so come back later! https://youtu.be/TziV_o8ROuU
