On another Forum I posted a picture that my son did for Father's Day of me in Roman armour and asked if there was a suitable figure in 28mm. I got a bundle of options and settled on a Warlord Games figure set.

I have named him in my poor Latin - Alanus Brittunculus Argentibarbus - which I hope is something like Alan the White Haired Briton.
I had to take a few liberties - but hey! It is my army!
