That pattern is pretty simple and doesn't look that much different than modern trouser patterns. I'd suggest looking at a basic pattern or sloper for men's trousers and then taking a look at Matt's pattern again.<br>

Another way to figure it out is to borrow a friendly male or a full tailor's dummy and drape the pattern yourself. The legs are basically tubes and the waist and hips are another big tube. Or look take apart an old pair of sweat pants and see how they are put together.<br>
