Our event this weekend was with a bunch of 9 yr old boy scouts. The surrounded one of our members in segmentata, and of course, poked the armor and asked if it was real. Suddenly, one of them head butted Dan in the stomach, staggered back and fell on the ground. Yes, it was real. <p>Legio XX<br>

I can't really top it but ...<br>

We can put to sleep the whole armour potential of the apron at the front of military armour.<br>
<br>
Once asked by a kid whether it offered any protection the standard response was given, without warning the little so and so leapt forward and punch my mate between the legs felling him like a rotten tree ... not much protection there.<br>

"are you real" ?<br>
<br>
depends on the age. Teachers tell me 8 years and under they actually get confused as to whether you really are 2000 years old. I think from there to 12 they are more sure you aren't, but they then wonder if the armor and weapons are real. <p>Legio XX<br>
