Jewelry sources? Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for books that have pictures of Roman Jewelry, it is something that my wife is starting to get into and wants to make, however, we are finding it difficult to find any good books that carry ROman Jewelry in them other than a cursory mention.<br>

With Christmas coming I was hoping to surprise her with the 'best book' out there ... but have drawn a complete blank ... any suggestions?<br>

I have several suggestions. There is a well known but out of print book by a BM curator, and there are several Shire books on Roman jewelery as well.<br>

[Caius Fabius]

I have several pictures from museums of Roman Jewelry. The recent Etruscan exhibit here had dozens of pieces and photos in their book, which I offered to get for interested persons. The exhibit closed 31 October, and I don't know if any of the collection catalogs are left. I'll see if the romanPotz site does any business, and if so, maybe I'll start a newsgroup for Roman jewelry sometime.<br>
