Civillian Sandals?
#1
Would this style of sandal be proper for a civillian in ancient Rome?
Salve Grenadierus, yes they do look sort of Roman, but then, there were so many different types of sandals out there. The toe thong is what I wonder about. The rest would be appropriate enough, even the tooling, which many Roman shoes had. I'd have to revisit my books on shoes, but I'll post some links.

Minus the toe ring (which I have doubts about), they look very similar to sandals found at the Saalburg and also in Judea.
