The shield is made with two layers of plywood strips. 5 cm. wide strips, wider in the centre and a little bit narrower in the sides, to follow the curvature of the mould (form?). It's like making wooden model boats. More time consuming than a flat shield but it's not that difficult... I will sell this shield in my web, www.armillum.com but I think that shipping costs to the States are more expensive than the shield itself... Pr. Min. Octavianus
