I came across this story about a museum in Liverpool, U.K. recreating the colors of an ancient sculpture of the Emperor Caligula for a replica sculpture.

Great article! I wish those sorts of replicas would be made available, especially in light of the painting and color research.

I wish those sorts of replicas were available in museum shops or replica sculpture stores instead of the inferior stuff some of them currently offer. But then there is the issue of museums having to deal with forgeries!
