Who\'s Who
#1
Quite a while back I started on a group of Who's Who listings [url:1xc3gzx1]http://www.geocities.com/richsc53/studies/whoswhomilitary[/url] but quickly discovered the problem of not having a database. I've let it go for a while, but just realized that the new RAT has a database backend, and very useful too. Now I need to design it so Jasper can put it together, so I'm looking for suggestions on field names and pertinent information that would make it useful. To start:

Name, Title
Expertise (should this be a list or free text?)
University
public address and contact information
publication(s) and their ISBN
Website

Other suggestions?

Jasper, how do I create the DB and the pages for this? Since you can add fields later, I think what's there now will do. Maybe a text field/block so freeform descriptions can be added.

From my humble oppinion I think you could include Aitor Iriarte as an authority in ancient arillery studies an poliorcetics.

Many thanks, but better erase 'poliorcetics'...

It\'s all an accident, an accident of hands. Mine, others, all without mind, from one extreme to another, but neither works nor will ever.

I had to look it up: Poliorcetics, the art of siege warfare and fortification.
