OK, I admit I dabble. I no longer have the time to reenact anything anymore, but whern I am not writing wicked cool books on 20th cent military I hide in the wonder of Rome.
So I was considering making some roman leather bits, and was amzed to see just how much material has sprung up on the web in the last year or two.
I wonder if anyone knows of any good info on making your own belt or baldric - possibly measurments and patterns. I used to make dark ages leather junk (back int he dark ages of reenacting). So while I suppose I might just buy one- I have not seen anything I actually like.
