Now, Ive found a danish shop where they sell this helmet:

Would this be usable for a roman kit? I have no particular period since Im just getting into all this, but I am working on a hamata.

Also, how would I make attachment for a Centurion crest on it?

You can turn it into a 4th century AD Intercisa one, but that'll be a lot of work... So, don't buy it!
