I am pleased to report that I put my caligae on the ground in Mesopotamia yesterday. I am currently at Camp Liberty on the outskirts of Iraq. My trip here from Kuwait City took some days (due to delays in securing a spot on an air transport).
I expect to be playing 'Hide-and-Seek' with the Persians any day now..
