Does anyone have any information on dice games or other games that were played by the Legions/Populace in their leisure time?

There's a game called AVE VICTRIX which uses four-sided dice that are shaped vaguely like golf tees. I have a recreated set of the dice. The rules are similar to craps in that you have to get combinations in a certain order to win.
If you search for "tesserae" on Google, you should be able to turn up some information on Roman dice games.
