After the liberation of Iraq, the Coalition forces have done great damage to the ruins of ancient Babylon. Now, the German Archaeological Institute has accepted an invitation to come to Iraq and restore what has been damaged. I remember hearing about this a bit ago.I also read that Saddam put Military targets near to Archeological sites o he could blame the coalition forces for their destruction.I believe there was an Italian team looking after the Museum artefacts,but things started to go missing. Confusedhock:
