The Spartans are coming!

Khairete,
Quote:Ooh, you little sauce-box! Personally, I thought some of it was not up to the standard of some of our colleagues here, especially the greaves. Wait 'till you see all the hunky tarts who are clamouring to come to the Festival.

By the by, I'm going to be awarding the Apple of the Hesperides to the most beautiful Koura there; maybe you could judge a competition for Kouroi - or do you think it would be bad for your heart?
  I should have watered my wine....
I think I could cope with judging a competition for Kouroi......when in my more usual (nearly) serious frame of mind!
regards
Arthes

The enemy is less likely to get wind of an advance of cavalry, if the orders for march were passed from mouth to mouth rather than announced by voice of herald, or public notice. Xenophon

I may be able to help you with that. Anyone who wants kit, please let me know what and how many and I'll see if I can get it to the Festival for you.

That seems really odd, Greek Hoplites have problems getting their ancestral equipment in Greece..... :?

As I've said elsewhere, I think it may be about to get better. One of the great things about people having to source kit wherever they can, is that there is great diversity, which is ideal. There will be traders at the Festival
