Nice I identified the blond sister of my wife, some one who lose an eye  etc.

The most impresive thing is the one with the modern man, that with DNA
found his ancestor, once I saw in TV.

BTW: I know of some forensic artist, at list two of them who work for the police, that are better than those of Manchester, & they dont even needed a picture to start the reconstruction, when the reconstruction was don, & the suspect picture of the dead body was compared it was remarcable identical.

I feel that one on Philip dont even look like the portrait of ivory, marble & coins.... Its not because the skeleton is not his.

And those eyiptians I would not coment

But I dont like them so much

Philip said that the Athenians were like the bust of Hermes: all mouth and dick.

Well they got 80% in my opinion.
I belive that the scotland Yard forensic labs (saw it on TV) did a better job on Philip.
Kind regards

I thought Lindow man looked rather like Phillipos before the accident with his eye...
I know which program you mean Comerus, the ancestor was from Yorkshire I think?
I watched the series The Blood of the Vikings too (still had TV at that point) that was fascinating.
I think the fellow from the Cheddar Gorge was traced to a descendant in the area who actually still resembled him....lol
One funny thing happened to me - just after watching a program on two Roman mummies, a women and a younger man, which reconstructed their possible features, I needed to go to the supermarket. Queing up at the cash machine, I glanced at the young man at the machine next to me, tall with a distinctive Roman style haircut and the spitting image of the male mummy reconstruction.....! I didn't know how to explain why I was standing there gaping at him....'excuse me, you do realise you resemble a Roman mummy'
lol
What I sometimes do, is look at a skull and simply draw a rough face. I did at least one that I found resembled a reconstruction, but most have not been done.
