I collect ancient coins and artifacts, and I can tell you that you can buy real Roman dice! (I don't own a pair yet, though //www.vcoins.com">www.vcoins.com , but check Ebay if you are interested. I hope to own a pair one day! They are very interesting!

Here are two web sites that offer reproductions of Latrunculi. I don't have either, so I cannot vouch for their quality. With the wooden version, I would ignore the rules given. According to the research by Ulrich Schädler, there was no such piece as a dux (or king).
