Took this snap the other day of a Neolithic flint dagger in the British Museum. I'm sure I've seen that shape before :wink:

it is a very common shape for the era, all over the world the shape is seen around 3,000-1,000 B.C., it is no suprise that it would continue to exist in later weapons.

It really does look alot like the Lakdaimodian dagger/shortsword.

A tomp stele in the Vienna historical meuseum showing two classical era hoplites dueling depictss the short sword of one of the combatants exactly the same like this one in shape!
Tarbicus surely discoverd an all time weapon form.
