Salvete!
I am Marcus Quintius Clavus. I have been lurking around Roman Army Talk for about 3 months, but have had a life long interest in the Roman Army, since 5 or 6 years old. Sunday School "comic strips" starting my passion for collecting pictures of Roman legionaries.
I live in Connecticut, USA and first hooked up with LegioXX in 2001, attending my first event with them in Sept. 2001. After attending their Roman Days Event in June, 2002, I was on my way with obtaining kit. I am finally living a life long dream!!
Currently, I am officially a member of Legion XXIV based out of Media Atlantia (Philadelphia, PA area).
I, of course, travel extensively from Maryland to Maine in pursuit of re-enacting opportunities, but would like to hook up with other Roman Army re-enactors in Connecticut/Massachusetts/Upstate NY area as well. Weekends are best for me until next year and more vacation!
Oddly enough, even before I found any re-enacting groups, I had helped a college professor friend of mine by coming to his night classes to talk about the Roman Army.

By the way, I have found much good information via Roman Army Talk, and particularly look forward to hearing about new books and films and TV programs, as well as up to date info on the other many aspects of the Roman Army.
