My Favourite TV Series!
#1
Ave!

Currently, my favourite TV series is Joss Whedon's "Firefly". What a crying shame it was taken off after only 14 episodes.

I consoled myself by buying the boxed DVD set and the feature film "Serenity" from www.play.com for a mere GBP 27.98 last month. As they are based in Jersey there is no VAT and postage is free, which makes them possibly the cheapest source for many items. Check them out.

Has anyone else enjoyed this entertaining series? I kept on waiting to see what antics River would get up to next.

Does anyone have any news about what project Joss Whedon is working on now?

Do you have any favourite TV series?

Vale

Sopranos (the best ever!) In a nutshell the roman client-system!
Does anyone remember teh "Odyssey" made by the italian tv in early seventies? I can still remember the music (those barbed-wire electric guitar sounds) and remember also how I watched the cyclops under my blanket  ... If I remeber correctly, there were some kind of sequel about Aeneiis...

Ahem. I don't have a TV, but I mention Baantjer, a Dutch series ([url:j45e2hpe]http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111887/). I've never seen it, actually, but an acquaintance plays a major role ([url:j45e2hpe]http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0228425/).

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this show, What about "Time Team"? It has been showing on the History channel here in the states. They did alot of roman themed shows.

My Favoritaes shows Battle Star Glactica, the best Sci-Fi out there right know, Simpsons Big Grin and the varoius shows about Romans and Dark Ages on the History Channel. Band of Brothers ,HBO Mini-series about WW2 US Army wich was great. Also I am a fan of the Black Adder series, however I never saw the Roman one they are suppose to have. Cheers Caius/thom
