Has anyone else here read:
Danae Richter: Das römische Heer auf der Trajanssäule. Propaganda und Realität, Mentor 3, Mannheim/Möhnesee 2004
It looks very nice altogether, but there are bits that make me go "huh?". I'm not a metalworker or an expert on Roman arms and armour, so I was hoping you could give me a better informed opinion. Some of the "huh?" things are very interesting, but I'm not sure whether to trust them.
