is there something like "blueprints" for 3D-recons

I'd like to do a lot of 3D-models of Roman ships, buildings, armory, etc. So if you know resources that are similar to those blueprints you have for planes and other things like that, please let me know (you know this drawings for top, left and front view).<br>
