Great pictures, Antonis! I especially like the rugged appearance of the armour, not too shiny!

Well done Anaqbasis and Scythians!

The beginnings of my Thracian or Scythian phrygian cap. Using needle felting, I am combining various coloured wools to give it the illusion of being made of fox fur. I may even relent and just put a fox pelt over top. It also has a blue lining. The tag on the one strap is just a wool... thing. Theme colours? Anyways, it's coming along quite nicely.

It also fits under my helmet.

Very impressive, Willi.

Thanks for posting them.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!

Great photos!
I like the scorpion Aspice, is it bronze?

@Vindex: Thank you for your feedback, glad you like the pictures!
@Gaius Julius Caesar: Thank you too for your compliment on the photos! The scorpion aspis has a brass facing. The owner took a standard DSC Aspis and overhauled it completely. More on this topic can be found in the blog section of our website (hetairoi.de).

My Macedonian impression with a friend, both armor sets are mine. Big Grin
They are props from the greatest movie ever made: "Alexander", so it's not as fancy as yours, but it's something. Tongue

Greetings from Norway.
