Sure--I'll stop and pick you up. Hmm--I'll have to drive over the pole. Is that hard?

Someday, Giannis.

Greek chaps... I'm getting some kit together 5th-4th Century BC. (just for myself, I like this period...I assure you, Britannia are not turning their attention to the Peloponnesian Wars!)

I purchased a helmet from the re-enactor's market here in the UK and had this horsehair crest (wooden oak box) made & applied.

Am I on the right path?

Does it look acceptable?

Hi Dan. This is the deepeeka early corinthian. The crest looks nice. It is acceptable, of course. Good luck in building your greek kit.

Many thanks Glannis.

Funnily enough I'm aiming for a Corinthian kit of this period.

I'm also getting a Macedonian kit c. 333BC (Gaugamela) together too.

I made the first steps of putting together my Thracian Impression. My mother found some blankets somewhere in my grandmother's wardrobe. They are hand made by my grandmother or great grandmother, using the wool of their own animals and dyed with natural ways. So they're traditional Thracian ones for real. They're heavy and thick. They are made in the machine, the "argaleios".

But Kallimache,i can't find such things in the stores...You may find some similar ones in some traditional shops but they're going to be expensive. And rare to find. That's why i proposed Turkey.
