Hi Chris,

I use Softimage XSI and Photoshop, and used Poser for the initial guy. I've also picked up a copy of ZBrush2, but haven't even installed it yet. Bear in mind a fair bit of it's paintwork in Photoshop.

What's the project? PM me if you like.

Cheers.

Tarbicus,

Did you receive the PM I sent you? I couldn't tell if it went through or not.

If not, you can e-mail me directly at cacrispvs AT gmail DOT COM

I use MAYA 6.5 / mental Ray but I am way not as far as Jim.........

i am learning every day, but sometimes time just seems not to be there to fully get into this cg stuff.......

Photoshop and 3dsmax i am also still checking out however my computer lacks the ability to make mass calculations needed for a quick rendering....

Hello
Personally I use Photoshop and Painter to paint the illustrations.
I still do all the drawing part of it on paper.

Quote:I was considering a cavalry type, or a later Augustan legionary (if only to work out the best way to do hamata)

Why not do squamata Jim? Would that be easier to render?

You do nice portrait work, Gioi (also the earlier gladiator action). A pity that my project isn't commercial, or I'd be examining the possibility of hiring a bunch of you guys.

Here's a little sample of my contribution to that game that Michael (Mythos_Ruler) has been boasting about for so long.. Tongue

Don't worry about the shield and helmet. They just haven't been made yet.

Hello
Here is a collection from my sketchbook, depicting some late Roman soldiers: some of my future projects (and a past one also).
