All things considered that Catalina doesn't look like its in too bad shape, it shouldn't be too hard to get back in flying condition.
A friend of a friend actually just got ahold of a P-51 recently for the bargain of $30,000 US. He went to some auction out in the middle of nowhere and one of the items for auction was marked "plane in a box." He asked the auctioneer if he could see what it was and the guy let him, inside was a perfectly preserved in grease P-51. He immediatley called his banker and made sure he could get a loan then bid, apparantly no-one else there knew what it was and how much it was worth, he was the only bidder and got it for that price.
