gladius identification
#16
When I was browsing "Military Clothing I", I noticed the drawing of an Auxilia centurion from Judea of around 30AD who is carrying a gladius with discs on the scabbard. The scabbard is said to have been found at Pula in Croatia. Has anyone got pictures of this find?

The original scabbard comes from Pompeii and registered in the Museo Nazionale di Napoli in the ' 1930' . I have seen pictures of it made in the '30. I'll see what I can do to find and post them.
