Hello everybody,
I look for pictures of the inscriptions of the monument of Adamclissi in Romania. There is a list of names of soldiers like a war memorial on it. Thank you very much if you have it.

I found the blog of some archaeology grad student. She has a gallery of photos from the museum housing the bits from the Adamklissi monument.

Whoops. Sorry Robert! I glanced over your link in that post! Perhaps I should go back to my post and edit my text to say, "I agree with Robert. That blog is one cool place for Adamklissi photos. Let's all look at it again."
I remember it took alot of Googling to find that site, so I assumed no one else had discovered it besides myself!

It's very difficult to find close-up pictures of the list of names--probably because its very, very fragmentary. If you have the CIL references to hand, that's really the best bet, and if you need them, I can dig them out of my archives. Though, I'm pretty sure there is a section about the list of names in
F.B. Florescu, 1965,
Das Siegesdenkmal von Adamklissi, Tropaeum Traiani, Verlag der Akademie der Rumanischen Volksrepublik
amongst the general talk of the main monument.
The photo gallery of Adamklissi is purposefully hard to find--I've always been torn by a) not being sure of permissions, copy-rights, and possible ill-feelings along with b) knowing that it's blessedly difficult to find a complete set of pictures from that museum with the slightly altruistic belief that c) all information should be freely available to everyone. But I'm glad that it is of use here

Aye, they're just keeping us scrotes in our place as the lapdogs of our betters, scrambling for the scraps thrown to us
(Now 'scrote' isn't a word I've used in a very long time. It deserves a lot more usage methinks ...)
