Ancient cranes
#1
I added some section at Wiki on Greek, Roman and medieval cranes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crane_%28machine%29

Now my question: Does anyone have a private-owned picture of the Roman crane at Bonn, the harbor crane at Andernach or Wuerzburg? or of any other cranes from these periods?

I would like to add that picture to the Wiki page, because mine is copyright protected, and Wiki is such a pain in the when it comes to supposed violations of copyrights.
Stefan (Literary references to the discussed topics are always appreciated.)

There'is a good reconstruction of a roman crane at Archeon park, Holland. Probably Robert (FECTIO) can give you some photos, or go to the FECTIO website and look for it.
