We almost got banned in Greece!?
At 17 of june we payed homage to the monument of the Unknown soldier in Athens with 1821 Greek Revolution Reenactors. It was great though it had 40 degrees and we almost fell down from the heat.We were only 13 but it was really great and we got lots of publicity from tourists and people attending. We had a girl with us as well , the one with the gorgoneion on the shield you will see soon. There was a big band ,politicians ,Maniates men & women reenactors and a military honour guard.

But then......
At the end of the ceremony we cited the oath of the Athenian Hoplites as agreed with the organisers and the 1821 reenactors at 2.45 the Guard change suddenly came and ordered us to bugger off litelarely in a most insulting and derogatory manner. The Maniates organiser almost went berserk. The guard change at the monument happens every hour with no exception for the last century and we have come to understand that one of the lady politicians watching was annoyed that we got applaued and they werent. So they kicked us out. Thats what happened.Needless to say how i feel.
