My factoid detectors kept going off all the way through, not helped by the fact that The Incredible Vanishing James Woods always makes me think, well, creepy villain.

Not looking to the way it presents the background and history, i really couldn't stop to laugh about the "camouflag segmentatae", the really big and not to close helmet of the leader or the ..."big" sword of one of the celts....
Just great Big Grin
And this sentence "raves and rocks and the romans"....just great.
I wasn't able to understand what they called the shield wall they performed against the spears. Did they really called it testudo?

Who are the talking heads? I recognize the presenter, James Woods, and Tony (A.R.) Birley, the bearded guy.

Is the younger talking head one of the younger Birleys?

Could be, I'm not sure they are actually involved. Usually when one talks of the younger Birleys, it's in reference to Eric Birley, A.R.Birley's dad. A.R. and his digging brother are then the young ones.

It's a young Birley for sure (Andy). From the Vindolanda Dig forum that was posted today:

They were all there in the Timewatch on Hadrian's Wall the other week. That's what made me kind-of-recognise the one under discussion.

I overlooked the glaringly obvious ....strirrup straps for one....and the huge sword
I'm not 100% on some of the earlier Roman kit anyway, what looked reasonable to me might be Confusedhock:  to some of you......
