Hi Caius here I been looking at the Lorica Segmenta offered by Valentine Armouries. How the quality on the Lorica? IT does not quite fit my ideas of the Roman Seg armour. Is it useful for our hobby Cheers Thomas/Caius

It's been discussed before. It's not based on any archaeological finds, but on monumental sculpture (Trajan's, etc).
Depends on what your criteria are, but I'm sure most groups would reject it.
It's still an interesting curiosity though, and I was once tempted. A few years later now and I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
