Pictures and illustrations of the late Roman army
#1
I'm preparing to a publication of a short article on battles in Rhien limes between 355-360. However, I have some problems with finding pictures, which could be put in the article without braking copyright. I though that perhapes some of you guys have own made graphic to share. Ofcourse I will add a note below the picture in my article with information about source of this graphic. What I need are illustranions which show clibanarii, cataphraktoi, heavy or light infantyryman. Pictures of reconstructed weapon from late antiquity will be also nice. I will be very gratful.

*graphic designer mode on*
every picture you are to be sent must be at least 300 dpi resolution or else you will have troubles with printing.

Pretty much, can you double check on any you select from my Gallery, as just a few aren't mine (you can post me the title or URL). You can send me a Message if you prefer.

Ok I have managed to collect enough maps, pictures and illustrations so I don't need more help. Also in this place I would like to thank Jasper, Ivan and Robert for help. But most to JP Vieira who made for me a great late Roman legionary ilustration and Stephen Kenwright who finds and proposes me a great photomanipulation which showes Roman "Fulcum" I salute you guys! Smile

As I may notice earlier RAT is great place full of profesionnals, who not only work for their own account but are eager to help others, which is not so often in other forums.
