Is that the infamous "tooper helm"? Crest looks dubious anyway!
Visne partem mei capere? Comminus agamus! * Me semper rogo, Quid faceret Iulius Caesar? * Confidence is a good thing! Overconfidence is too much of a good thing.

I'm very sory for you but this helmet is one of the worst helmet on the market!
I would not go on any roman event with it!
As I started with roman equipment I bought a helmet similar to yours too. I've trust in "authentic reproduction" and words like this.
The saddest is that you can get a really well made helmet for a little more money!!!!
So what you can do? Put it on ebay (and spend a little bit more money for a nice Deepeeka Gallic G or an other helmet from the new Deepeeka line - be careful that you buy an "N"-article-number-helmet) or take the minger as a target

Bought several years ago without any knowledge on accuracy.
Now i spare bucks for Depeeka one, with RAT improvment
Somedays, i asked myself to stop thinking of using a hammer to improv myself the helmet, at least put ring to lace it under my chin

Yes Favi... I thought of doing something new when I did this... I was thinking something medieval....
But to answer u all guys.... perhaps the bowl ca be use to create something close to this?
But u need to refill those little extra holes, & weld the two ear piece?

No it doesnt not need to be planish the hole thing... its just has 3 welding points that hold the repossed eyebrow... when you take it out it just have a burned shape of what was there...
Would u like to see some pictures?

Give me few minutes to download the picsssssss!
But I'm concerned about the back, since lack of one bulging line (ridges?).

So the Gallic B has 4 ridges, vs the trooper's 3? Well, do any other originals just have 3 ridges?
I think if you got the rest of the helmet looking like the new one from deepeeka, then you'd be in good shape, even if there was only 3 ridges vs 4.
