Yep Cool picture.
there is a whole lot of people(and an elephant) in a whole world of hurt there!
I like the chap in the forground with the Port-Agen Helmet though where he got it from during the punic wars is any ones guess Smile

Great pic! Smile Not sure about that sword sticking into the ground, though... what is it, Excalibur?

Since it's artwork, and from wargaming too, I moved it to Gaming & Modelling. Not especially relevant to Reenactment & Reconstruction...

Can someone cand give me more details on this book.
The number of pages?
If it has color plates inside?
If it contains details of the armies of the punic wars?
It is worth buying the book only for the historical information not for the gamming information?

Nice picture Caballo! I would say the sword is supposed to be a hipaniensis, but the blade appears a bit short and broad.......
