CATs on RAT
#16
Quote:BTW: What is the meaning of BYOC ????? I don't know this shortcut.
This was a bad joke of mine. Often at parties in America invitations will include BYOC which means "Bring Your Own Beer" This is done in large part to save the host money and so that the host has diminished legal liability for subsequent drunk driving incidents. In order to avoid offending Muslims, vegetarians, etc. Some now have BYOM which means "Bring Your Own Meat"

In this case I changed it to BYOC which would mean "Bring Your Own Cat" After all who would want to share a "wiping cat".

My cat doesn't fit, might have to go with a smaller version.

And they seem to soak up the sweat just fine, although not too happy about it:

Well somewhere in this thread was a serious discussion of sea sponges as helmet liners. I'm not sure that the whole thing should be moved to off-topic and get a new name. Sometimes you just have to let things evolve and drift a little.

Really? I know there used to be a pet-thread in the RAT stone age. I tried to find it without any luck.
(Going OT here) I did find one of the oldest threads ( http://www.romanarmy.com/rat/viewtopic.php?t=182 ). I tried to find the very oldest one, but that may actually be it. So there it is, RAT when it just begun...
Greets!
