Ouch.. The Taiwanese vet did not use enough tranquilisers when treating the 'poor' croc.. The arm was 'salvaged' and restored, the croc shot.

Yes it's real, I've seen the filmed piece on TV news, the arm is newly attached by a seven hours surgery work...

Thats pretty incredible surgery, you'd think there was no chance of it working.

I don't see why it was shot either :evil: It takes a lot to expect it to change a multi-million year notion that meat is good for you :roll:

I read that article...Apparently none of the rounds pierced the croc's hide, so I'm not sure what they shot it with.

Btw, we had a follow-up on the news about the croc. It was not shot dead.

It was shot, but with darts and to make it open its mouth so it would let go of the arm.... Big Grin

It's become VERY popular, now. :lol:
